Take part in our research, looking into your experiences of using LARC (long-acting reversible contraception) services in Southend for the chance to win a £10 voucher!

Register your interest for one of our focus groups:

We're inviting people who want to share their experiences in more detail to one of our focus groups. Those who attend our focus groups will be in with the chance to receive an additional £15 voucher from our prize draw!

  • Tuesday 12 November, 10-11.30am - St Luke's Community Hub

  • Wednesday 13 November, 1-2.30pm - SAVS, Alexandra Street

  • Thursday 14 November, 7-8.30pm - Online via MS Teams




However you choose to share your experience, let us know your feedback so we can better understand how you gather information to make informed choices, and if there's anything that would make accessing contraceptive services easier for you. Your voice can help make a difference.


LARC refers to a range of contraceptive methods and can include: a contraceptive injection (sometimes referred to as the Depo injection), an IUS (intrauterine system) or hormonal coil (sometimes referred to as the Merina coil), an IUD (intrauterine device) or copper coil, or a contraceptive implant.
