Using the NHS App on older devices

As of Monday 3 February, patients are no longer able to access the NHS App on older mobile devices, including those on the below operating systems:

 

  • iOS 12, 13 & 14 (iOS 13 &14 can be updated to iOS15)

  • Android 6

  • Android 7


The NHS App is now only supported on:

 

  • Android version 8 and above (on devices with a front-facing camera)

  • Apple iOS version 15 and above

  • Web browser: nhsapp.service.nhs.uk/login


If you experience any technical difficulties accessing the app on your phone, you can visit the NHS website for support.

 

If you cannot use the NHS App on your mobile device, you can still use the NHS website as usual to log in.
