Parents and carers can once again take advantage of walk-in health clinics for children at Family Centres across Southend from September.
No appointments are necessary for the child health clinics, that will be opening their doors five days a week at a variety of Family Centres across Southend-on-Sea for the first time since the pandemic.
Children who need regular health check-ups can attend appointment-only clinics at certain libraries four days a week, to make sure they get the medical attention they need.
The clinics are an opportunity for parents and carers to have their children checked and weighed by a Health Visitor, and get advice about all sorts of issues, from breastfeeding to potty training. It can also be an opportunity to meet other parents.
