The Open Day at the Hub was a great opportunity for HWS to network with other services who attended and who provide a wide range of services. We were able to chat and listen to local people about their experience of local NHS health and social care.

There were opportunities to take part in taster sessions for Yoga and Fitness amongst others, plus details of services available to the older community.
Jean, our Engagement Officer was able to speak to several residents. Their feedback included, concerns about accessing face to face GP appointments , interrupted treatment at Southend Hospital during the lockdown and additional pressures on services due to housing developments e.g. heavily subscribed GP surgeries.
