Feedback from our discussion on the 10-Year Health Plan

On Tuesday 28 January, we held a discussion with local residents and professionals in Southend about the Change NHS: 10-Year Health Plan. The aim of the plan is to outline how to modernise the health service to meet the evolving needs of our population. Our key areas of discussion included moving hospital care to community settings, moving from analogue to digital, and focusing on prevention first. 


The plan is due to be published by the Department of Health and Social Care and NHS England in Spring 2025. 


Following the event, we compiled all of your feedback and submitted it to the Mid & South Essex Integrated Care Board and NHS England, which will help them shape the plan.
