Healthwatch Southend is holding its next Community Assembly on 27 February 2024. We'll be at the SAVS offices in Alexandra Street, starting at 3pm.
We've asked the NHS Integrated Care Board (which plans and funds services) to come and talk about its plans to change the way beds at the Cumberlege Intermediate Care Centre in Rochford are used. Southend residents might be cared for at Brentwood Community Hospital instead for some conditions.
We're also planning to hear more about how community pharmacists can help you look after your own health, including new services which might avoid a trip to the GP.
